Dow Jones, Dallas stocks plummet again

The Dow Jones Industrial average dropped 376.36 points on Thursday as fears spread that economic recovery in the United States and worldwide would be impacted by Europe’s debt troubles.
By market close, the Dow had dropped 3.6 percent from the previous day's close. The Nasdaq was down 4.11 percent, or 94.36 points, and the S&P 500 was down 43.46 points, or 3.9 percent.
Dallas stocks declined with the Dow. At close, American Airlines’ stock had fallen 6.85 percent, trading at $6.53 per share. Dallas-based Southwest (NYSE: LUV) also saw its stock price drop 4.97 percent, hitting $11.67 per share at close.
Other drops included:
Belo Corp. (NYSE: BLC): down 8.06 percent, hitting $6.96;
Celanese Corp. (NYSE: CE): down 5.36 percent, hitting $26.46
Diamondrock Hospitality Co. (NYSE: DRH): down 7.44 percent, hitting $8.96
Atmos Energy Corp. (NYSE: ATO): down 4.23 percent, closing at $27.17
